Fall has arrived, and so have the mushrooms!! Join us in the woods as we take an adventure where we will (hopefully) discover Oregon’s fall fruiting mushrooms. We will be meeting on the east side of Portland, in Damascus at 9:15 am, caravaning out to our foray location (roughly 70 minutes), and hunting as a group for about 3 hours. We will be walking and talking all things mushrooms—how to find, harvest, cook, and preserve. You can expect to learn about chanterelles, boletes, chicken of the woods, and more!
